What Edge Says Is New in GTA 6: Smarter NPCs, K-9 Cops, Scooter Bros Delivery and a WAINK App

★★★★☆By Vice City Hub

K-9 cops, delivery scooters and a coffee that makes you faster. Rockstar thought of everything except your wanted level.

According to coverage of Edge's 16-page special, GTA 6's systems go deeper than the trailers suggest. This list comes from Khel Now's summary of the issue, so treat the specifics as secondhand.

World: buses and trains are fully functional, days and nights last longer to feel closer to real time, and separate teams built the ads, TV shows, radio stations, political campaigns, pedestrians and fictional brands.

NPCs and police: pedestrians react based on location, personality and what they witness, so carrying a shotgun down the street alarms them more than slinging a weapon over your shoulder. Police can deploy K-9 units, track suspects by clothing and known accomplices, and handle pursuits more realistically. Robbery victims may resist, shoppers may step in, and armed drivers can fight back against carjackers.

Vehicles and items: a Scooter Bros service delivers your personal vehicle to your location, cars can carry tracking devices and have improved fuel management, and the in-game WAINK app helps locate valuable vehicles that criminal buyers want. Coffee boosts stamina and protein shakes temporarily increase health. The summary also mentions a Criminal Profile system, more enterable interiors and deeper Jason and Lucia relationship mechanics.

Rockstar has not published its own breakdown, and the summary contains no direct developer quotes.
