Edge Magazine Gets 12 New GTA 6 Screenshots and a 16-Page Cover Story From Rockstar North

Rockstar shows off swamps, sharks and a very suspicious cop. And no, it won't say whether Jason and Lucia get married.

Rockstar gave Edge magazine a batch of 12 new GTA 6 screenshots on October 29, along with a 16-page cover feature built on a visit to Rockstar North in Edinburgh. The images show a much wider Leonida than the trailers did.

What the screenshots show, according to coverage of the issue: Vice City's waterfront, skyline and neon-lit streets; a rural Leonida town with low buildings and a motorcycle gang riding through; trailer parks and industrial edges on the outskirts; the Grassrivers swamp, where two armed men ride an airboat with alligators around; an underwater passage with a hammerhead shark over coral; and several shots of Jason and Lucia in new outfits, plus a police officer that fans are already theorizing about.

Rockstar's Rob Nelson told Edge the game is "ready," as reported by Game Rant. That supports the November 19 date, though it isn't a quality guarantee. Rockstar also declined to say whether Jason and Lucia can get married.

The coverage describes a Leonida nearly as large as the playable areas of GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined. The original Edge issue is a print magazine, so everything here is secondhand reporting until the issue itself circulates.
