Pre-loading for Grand Theft Auto VI will open on November 12, 2026, a full week ahead of its November 19, 2026 launch, according to Beebom. Separately, players who purchase the Standard Edition can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition at any time for $20 through eligible storefronts, offering a lower-commitment entry point than buying the $99.99 Ultimate Edition outright. The physical Standard Edition will ship with a download code rather than a disc.
