Rockstar Drops the GTA 6 Launch Trailer: Jason and Lucia, a Justice Score and a November 19 Date
A month out, Rockstar finally shows the plot: easy score, bad idea, hotel pool. Textbook Vice City.
Rockstar released the official GTA 6 launch trailer on October 15, a roughly 90-second look that finally lays out the setup. In Vice City, USA, an easy score goes wrong and Jason and Lucia get dragged into a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida. French duo Justice composed the original score and wrote a new single, "Flower in a Hurricane," featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which is headed to GTA 6: The Album. Rockstar says the whole trailer was captured on PlayStation 5, without saying whether that means base or Pro. The release date stays November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and there is still no announced PC version. Early reports say the video passed 1 million YouTube views in about half an hour.
