A box with a download code in it, and people still stampeded. Retail is thriving on pure FOMO.

The code-in-box edition of GTA 6 has reportedly sold out at Amazon US as of October 11, and some Target stores are out of stock too. Remember, this is the box with a download code inside rather than a disc, which became the plan after Rockstar's physical-media decision. Demand for anything with the GTA 6 logo on it is clearly not the problem. Stock can come back through restocks, so keep an eye on retailer pages if you want a physical shelf copy.
